Sat Kriya is one of the most fundamental practices when it comes to Kundalini Kriyas. Hardly any other Kriya has such profound effects in so many different ways. Aside from that its main focus lies on the lower three Chakras (energy centers): Muladhara Chakra, Svadisthana Chakra and Manipura Chakra.

This Kriya is great to bring stability into sexual desires and impulses and can also help to remove any fears or sexual phobias, helping the sexual energy to sublimate into the higher Chakras for spiritual growth.
How to practise Sat Kriya
What this video to learn how to practise Sat Kriya safely:
Start slow and build up over time. Two to three minutes is a great starting point. From there you can increase the time when it feels right for you.
Remember that the maximum time to practise Sat Kriya is 31 minutes and that you have to double the time for Savasana afterwards. So if you for example practise 5 minutes of Sat Kriya you would have to add a 10 min Savasana at the end. Do not skip Savasana!
